Master Wang Noodle has become my lunchtime sanctuary, and for good reason—it boasts the best and most authentic Chinese noodles in town. Regardless of the hour, the place is perpetually buzzing with patrons, a testament to its well-deserved popularity.
The star of the show is undoubtedly the noodles. Each strand seems to carry the essence of Chinese culinary mastery, delivering a taste that's both comforting and authentic. It has become my go-to spot, a reliable haven during my lunch breaks.
While the noodles take center stage, the rice options are not to be overlooked. They offer a delightful alternative for those seeking a different kind of satisfaction.
What sets Master Wang apart is their attention to detail, showcased by the specials listed on the blackboard. These hidden gems, often overlooked, introduce diners to unique flavors and combinations that elevate the dining experience.
One thing to note: Master Wang operates on a cash-only basis. It's a small inconvenience easily forgotten once you're immersed in the rich aroma and flavors that await.- Food

I ordered the Spicy Beef Shin Noodle. Tender beef chunks with a rich broth, and tangy noodles ( I believe they are hand-made in this restaurant. Correct me if I'm wrong). Spicy, and incredibly rich with Umami. 🍜

Inside the restaurant is very basic and nothing special but the food overall was delicious and very cheap.
In particular, I would highly recommend the pan-fried scallion pancakes, although it does require a soy sauce dip, in my opinion, which is available near the counter (self-service). The pancake surface is very crispy and has a good texture.
I also ordered the biang biang noodles. Although I ordered a small size, the portion size was still pretty big as the bowl was full with the hand pulled delicious noodles. I have had slightly better flavoured ones, but for the portion size and price, I can't complain, and these were also pretty decent.
I would definitely like to return again if I am in Newcastle.- Service

It's true, don't judge by the shop front. This shop served very tasty braised beef & wonton noodles soup. The portion is just right and the price is considered cheap. The leek and egg dumpling is nice. Would definitely visit again. The waitress is friendly as well.

My fav restaurant here! Usually very busy at lunch🥲 My no.1 would be Deep fried spicy chicken with rice, stew pork & veggies noodle soup, dumplings with chilli oil! Only accept cash!
Master Wang's Noodle Bar in Newcastle is a haven for dumpling and noodle enthusiasts. The dumplings are plump parcels of joy, bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The beef noodle bowls are a hearty delight, with tender slices swimming in a rich and savory broth. Whether you're craving dumplings or noodle bowls, Master Wang's delivers a delicious experience that keeps customers coming back for more.

Amazing food, some of the best Chinese we’ve had in the UK. Mostly dishes you won’t find in most British Chinese restaurants, some of them would be for adventurous eaters! The lady running it was happy to adapt one of the dishes for me because I don’t eat eggs, which was very welcome. Can’t wait to get back to Newcastle and eat here again!

Truly excellent experience, probably Newcastle’s most authentic Chinese experience and it’s not even in Chinatown
I had the braised beef and wonton noodle soup. It was amazing. I got the small version because I’d read on GMaps that the portion sizes were massive and Google was right, the large would have simply been too much. Small was more than enough unless you are truly truly starving, I would suggest you get a small portion if you get a soup noodle dish.
I got the scallion pancakes as a side dish, those and the beef noodle fish, both were exquisite. I shall 100% be coming back. The price is amazing and the volume of food that you get is brilliant and the service was fantastic.
This is my new favourite Chinese place in Newcastle.
